Today I was in Aarhus to join the Flash Vision 2006 conference. (http://www.flashvision.dk)
Flash Vision 2006 is a half-day conference/event held at the “Farveriet” located in the centre of Aarhus. The pivotal point of Flash Vision is the program Flash’s current and future capabilities within areas as marketing, game development, art, storytelling, animation, application development, etc.
Flash Vision 2006 was the first major Flash conference held in Denmark and Scandinavia for that matter. The conference is inspired by e.g. Flash conferences such as Flashforward in the USA (www.flashforwardconference.com) and Sparkeurope in Europe (www.sparkeurope.com).
Some of my colleagues from Technical school in Aarhus, Teachers from the multimedia design course, is taking this initiative. I have to gratulate them for this great initiative.
The speakers was:
Flash developer Morten Barklund (Denmark) will talk about Flash development via Actionscript 2.0 and how it may be advantageous to use object-oriented programming in this connection, etc.
Morten Barklund is qualifying as MSc in Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark with specialisation in interpretation of programming language in general. Furthermore, he is with the company Shockwaved ApS, is manager for DKMMUG (the Danish Macromedia Usergroup), is administrator for www.ActionScript.dk and author of the book ”Grundlæggende programmering i Actionscript” (Fundamental programming in Actionscript) published by Globe.
Flash animator Ola Bergnar (Sweden) will talk about his experience in connection with working with flash-based animation.
Ola Bergner is one of the world’s leading developers within Flash-based animation and is e.g. known from "New Masters of Flash Vol.3" (2004), and as speaker at conferences as FlashForward and Media Elements 2004. Furthermore, Ola Bergner is currently making a feature film in flash.
Follow Bergner’s work on e.g. www.goober.nu (please visit this site, and be astonish about the quality)
